CD Purchase Nov 03, 2009 I bought the Jeff Buckley-Grace CD and DVD set. I am VERY pleased. I received the product quickly, it was in great condition, and I am enjoying it big time.
What More Can Be Said . .. Feel It Aug 17, 2009 What more can possibly be said about this album? Nothing. It must be experienced; it must be felt. If you happen to have never encounted it, and you happen to be reading this . . . just go listen to "Grace" . . .Jeff Buckley was lost too soon and this album is one of the great classics in my opinion.
I discovered this record in New Orleans one early morning at a friend's house as I awoke from an all-night festival dancing on bar tops and wandering the quarter. I was loose, tired, happy, and receptive . . . and Jeff Buckley just blew my mind.
My wife chose Buckley as our dance song at our wedding and I cried and cried.
Do yourself a favor and check out this work of art.

BEWARE the "remaster" Dec 06, 2008 KEEP your original copy of "Grace" or buy a used one while you still can. First, the "Grace" album itself warrants five stars. It is stunning from start to finish. The problem is with this "remaster". Like most of the dung the industry and record companies continue to heap on us, this remaster is s**t. It is UNNECESSARILY over-compressed, overmodulated, and DISTORTED. The only passages you need to hear to prove this are the loud peaks in "Hallelujah" - i.e. "I've seen your flag..." or "And every breath we drew...". The digital distortion in Jeff's voice is a direct result of George Marino's LOUSY mastering. It makes me want to vomit. Marino either has NO ears or didn't have the stones to stand up to Columbia and tell them he would not desecrate this beautiful record by mastering overly hot according to current industry "standards". These passages are NOT distorted on the original CD of "Grace". Howie Weinberg's mastering on the original issue sounds wonderful, especially by comparison to this monstrosity, and keeps in perfect balance the dynamic highs and lows and "breath" in the music and without distorting the peaks. This remaster is not the way this album should be heard and experienced. Everyone who allowed this to happen should be ashamed.

Grace ubove all May 14, 2008 Grace is one of the best albums ever made. It is essential in every album collection. It is a pity the man died.
"...I couldn't awake from the nightmare, it sucked me in, and pulled me under..." Jul 30, 2007 That hauntingly evocative line from "So Real" which became fatefully too real 10 years ago when Jeff Buckley drowned in the Wolf River exemplifies the mystically chilling experience of listening to Grace.
First and foremost one notices Jeff Buckley's voice---all 8 octaves, then maybe the stirring lyrical romanticism, and finally it'll settle in the wide range of his stylings.
From melodic rockers like "Mojo Pin" and "Grace" to the weeping ululation of "Corpus Christi Carol" and solemn hymnal of "Hallelujah" Grace is one of the most beautiful debut albums ever.
There's no filler to be found on this disc.
I actually recommend getting the Legacy Edition. The higher price gets you an extra disc of music and a dvd of videos.
The "road version" of "Eternal Life" at full blast is like a Mack truck crashing into your chest and atomizing you instantly.
JB is well on his way to becoming a legend and I consider his tragic demise the greatest loss to music in our lifetime.
