Only 2 kinds of people don't like this song..... May 07, 2004 Only 2 kinds of people don't like this song..... People that don't like country, and people that abuse their spouses. The song is light-hearted, funny, and Earl got what he deserved. Since the law already proved it couldn't protect Wanda, this was an obvious case of self-defense

Goodby Saddam? Jan 05, 2004 I thought violence wasn't the way to solve problems? I guess it depends on the situation.

"hits" home Apr 07, 2002 The Dixie Chicks really struck a chord with this song. I think Mallory from Texas got it all wrong when she said "this song will make you laugh out loud." Do you even know what this song is about???? It's about domestic violence, honey. That's a very serious issue. This song really "hit" home for me...pardon the pun. My mother came out of an abusive relationship and when I played this song for her, she cried. So Mallory, be a little more sensitive. At any rate, this song contributes to a great album. The "Fly" album was a success in every sense of the word. I'm looking forward to their next album. Chicks rule!

Never eat black-eyed peas! Jul 01, 2001 Here it is, the source of commotion all the wife abusers were all fired up about. In it, the woman who is being abused, along with her best friend's help, kill her soon to be ex-husband. But it's so much MORE than that. It's FUNNY, people. And I hardly think we need to ban kids from it beacuse of the "Violence" in it. It's a light-heatered alternative to actually killing your husband. Turn this on and you'll feel 100% better about whatever has been bugging you! The tune, Natalie's powerful vocals, the fun video and the humor in the song brought the Chicks into the spotlight, where they belong, once and for all.
