Wonderful Book! Nov 19, 2009 I love Gloria Copeland's books. And this is another book I thoroughly enjoyed. My husband and I read it together.
I have read other books by Gloria and can say any of her books are helpful. Be doers of the Word not only a reader.
Praise the Lord!!

Excellent, inspiring information!!!! Jan 18, 2009 This is a book which tells you how God would have you live and how you can live a life that pleases Him and helps you become all that He would have you to be. Gloria Copeland's life is a prime example!

This was an enjoyable & authentic Sep 19, 2008 I have long been turned off by Prosperity Preachers that do not address being a servant, sacrificing all, denying ones self by taking up your cross to follow Christ. I had a hard time understanding how this Prosperity doctrine could be justified in light of fact that the first Apostles & many Devout Christians in the early church suffered and were martyrs for spreading the Gospel. In this day & age there are still many (sold out for Jesus) Missionaries in hostile third world countries who left material wealth & great comforts to serve in poor countries that have nothing. The Prosperity teaching seems to appeal to greed pride and self-promotion. Self-focused teaching a life of ease and blessing is a contradiction of what Jesus said, that His follows would suffer persecution. The Prosperity Teachers never seem to address the meaning of Jesus words to "take up your Cross and follow me". However, Mrs. Copeland's book was a pleasant, unexpected honest to goodness surprise. It was relevant & centered on God not on what we can get from God but who God is & why he is worthy of all praise. I still cannot go along with any teaching that we are gods. This is Mormon-like thought. I researched that verse in Psalms 82:6 "you are gods and children of the most high" was referring to Judges that God has set in place in the Old Testament who were given God ordained authority to represent or enforce the Laws handed down by God to the people God. They did not replace God or become equal to God. Anyone who thinks they are equal to God should prove it by walking on water and walking through walls. We only have power in Jesus name period! That is heretic delusion to make redeemed humans equal to the God. He alone is Omnipresent, Omnipotent Ruler and Creator of the Universe. If someone extends power to you that does not mean the power originated with you. You are only a vessel used by God, in which God's power flows through. In Heaven we will have glorified bodies and will be like Christ but we will not ever be GOD! That was the lie told to Eve in the garden and resulted in outright rebellion against the true and living God and lead to the fall which introduced original sin. This belief also got lucifer/satan kicked out of Heaven. I want to run from anybody saying believers in Christ are gods or His equal.

Wonderful--a must read Sep 07, 2008 This is a must read! Each of the chapters give you action steps to use in your everyday life and Gloria fills the book with interesting and motivational stories about her own experiences. This is definitely a book I will go back to and one I will share with friends and family.
