 Glory Train, songs of faith Aug 30, 2009
Randy Travis, always a winner, especially with this album. Well sung and instrumentalized. A well thought out selection of faith and worship songs.

I'll admit that I wouldn't have purchased this CD unless someone recommended it. Well, the recommendation was for Randy Travis rather than this particular CD. I wanted to hear someone with a good baritone voice. So,I went to Amazon and after listening to cuts from several albums, I ordered GLORY TRAIN. One reason was that I wanted to learn both "Precious Memories" and "Precious Lord, Take My Hand."
I am impressed with most of the cuts on the CD, and there are a few that just blow me away. You have to listen to his songs, some of them seemingly simple, over and over again to plumb the depths of the intricacy and subtlety of his vocal technique. Listen to and marvel at his vocal rendering on "Precious Lord, Take My Hand."
I would highly recommend this recording to anyone.

I have had this CD in my car for over a year and never get tired of listening to it. My five year old sings along with me as best she can and has her favorites. I have bought more to give as gifts.

This CD is very enjoyable. The music is familiar and easy to sing along with.

I really enjoy the songs on this album. There is a mixture of old songs I have grown up with and new worship choruses. I also like Randy Travis's rendition of these songs. I am not a country music fan at all but do enjoy these songs.
