Well... Nov 11, 2009 As much as I praise Mr. Patton, I gotta say I wasn't really into this. I can listen to Peeping Tom and the Handsome boy modeling school thing. But this is just too hip hop. Look, I'm not into hip hop but I got nothing against the underground guys. You know, unless they start with the whole I'ma shoot you stuff. Love Mike's vocals but I'm not really into the "music", beats never been my thing. Rock elements and experimental are thrown in there but still I can't feel it. For those who want something other than the crappy mainstream hip hop I suggest you get this where more "talent" is found. And if you'll just listen to anything Mike Patton then get it. Trust me, I listen to ANYTHING Mike does. Even the orchestra stuff. This coming from a more death metal person or just rock type guy. If it has talent and sounds good, I'm there. But if it's hip hop, then it better have some instruments in it and a decent singer. I might like some here and there mostly old school such as you know who, the first "hip hop" group former hardcore punk band to play instruments, now those guys really got talent. Don't mind me but enjoy this album if you get it and Mike Patton's power! Truth is, i can't stand almost all hip hop, but this is actually good compare to most of the stuff out there. I'll give it a somewhat good review since I'm a big Patton fan.
If only mainstream Hip Hop/RnB was this good! Dec 09, 2008 I believe i bought this album first and for most due to the General. I'll even admit right now that I'll listen too and possibly always praise anything Mike Patton spits out of that brain of his. I've been a fan since Mr. Bungle - California and i wouldn't have it any other way, but one thing i am NOT; is a hip hop/rnb lover.
I hate it. and it probably hates me with equal ferocity.
But listening to this album, i put my notions of how bad hip hop is and i gave this numerous listen too's on my birthday as i had asked for it. i found myself feeling it, and i can honestly say i enjoyed it.
Though, if you're reading this and are a more "traditional" hip hop/rnb listener, beware; This might not be for you. Simply put... for me, its Hip Hop a bit of RnB at time mixed with a whole truck load of experimental/avant-garde that Mr. Patton is probably best known for. The more "real" songs are extremely catchy and Mike Patton really shines with his deep, yet, somewhat nasal voice. The less 'real" songs are still good, but being a lover of experimental stuff, it still took me a couple of listens to wrap my head around what the 4 artists were trying to accomplish.
If you enjoy Trip/tradition hip, rnb, experimental/avant-garde or patton in general, this is a must buy. It will have its own little spot in your favourite music selection.
Salute the General Aug 13, 2008 F*%#ing Awsome album as usual Mike Patton dosn't fail to impress with this releas some realy great songs and some great sampling and scratching from the Xecutioner gang. A lot of good break beat stuff the only complaint is that the tracks are not long enough!!! we could use some extended remixes from this album. would have to rate highly for Pattons side project stuff
Read Deathday by Eugene Bruce while you listen! Jul 21, 2008 Yeah that's what i'd do - listen to Patton losing his genius marbles once again and while that's going on read DEATHDAY BY EUGENE BRUCE (No. 23 in the list if you type my name in)while you're doing so! Cheers - I love you America!

Awesome! Nov 18, 2007 Dude! It's Mike Patton! Why are you even reading this? If you're into Peeping Tom but you've worn out that cd, I'd say you need to pick this one up.
