Great deal, great service! Nov 15, 2009 I always shop Amazon for good deals in used and new cd's and dvd's. This time was no exception. Incredible price for an album that is not very common. I bought mine to replace my original copy. I love my cd's to be in its original case and this seller really live up to it's promises. Thanks!
Reaching out, reaching in... Nov 08, 2009 Sarah McLachlan, or Sarah Mick, as I've heard her affectionately called by other fans, has been a key part of my sanity for years now. When "Steaming" first was recognized, I flipped over her, and have yet to be dissapointed by her growth over the years.
Of all her feats, by far, she truly reached inside herself, and turned it inside out into a CD. Such a haunting lyric as "Elsewhere", "Fear", and turn it back into something so light as "Ice Cream",and so many others, this CD has shown that she has found herself, and is willing to share it with others.
Timless Magnificence Sep 15, 2009 You know those songs that stay with you because of how they made you... feel? Fumbling Towards Ecstasy is the perfect collection of such beautifully threaded emotion. Hard pressed to choose a favorite, I will simply say each marriage of poetry and melody is a gift that seamlessly threads itself from beginning to end, making you yearn for more. Listening to McLachlan's voice is like wrapping yourself in silk. This CD is an essential piece to any easy listening collection, past present and future. A five star collection, indeed.
My Absolute Favorite Aug 20, 2009 A friend gave me a copy of "Fumbling...," saying to listen carefully because this woman was going to be BIG. Need I say more? This is Sarah at her most ethereal, with a good dose of undeniable sensuality. An absolute must for any Sarah fan and a great introduction for the curious.
Best album ever Jul 17, 2009 All I can say is that I will never tire of listening to this CD. 15 years after its release date, the music is as haunting and beautiful as it was back in 1994. There is not one song that I don't like.
