Children Sep 13, 2009 When this album was released on vinyl in the 70s, my children listened to it repeatedly. Wondering if the content had become dated, I purchased it for my grandchildren for listening in the car. I'm delighted to report that they love it, requesting specific songs and narrations by CD track number. I'd forgotten how thought-provoking some of the pieces are. Free to Be You and Me
always a favorite Sep 11, 2009 Marlo Thomas broke down barriers back when this movie made its debut. The songs are inspiring, and 25 years after I first heard them, I still find myself singing my favorite "It's Alright to Cry" by the big teddy bear, Rosey Grier.
just like on vinyl - but doesn't skip :) Aug 04, 2009 i listened to this as a kid
it's fun to hear it now
Ageless Feb 06, 2009 Raised my children on the philosophy of these songs. And they are still viable 35 years later. Yes, Mommies are People!
Free to be You and Me music Jan 21, 2009 This CD goes along with the 25th anniversary book. It is so much fun to listen to again. The kids in the neighborhood where I grew up, and my brother and sister and I used to put on this production for the parents in the neighborhood. To be able to listen to this again and bring all those memories back is really great.
