Dan Wilson is One of the Best Songwriters of Our Age Jan 19, 2009 Once again, Dan has produced an album full of memorable songs that get better every time you play them. I look forward to the next installment!
Very nice Nov 25, 2008 Great album. Very nicely done, with harmonious tunes that gives you a continous ride (with up's and down's) through the entire CD.
Very good music, great voice Oct 01, 2008 Although I only new one song at the time I ordered the album, I have to say that all songs are very very good.

Beautiful voice, beautiful instrumentals May 15, 2008 I picked this up on a whim, but I'm quickly falling in love with it. My favorite is "Babydoll." The background music is complex, and the lyrics are sweet. Fans of the Dixie Chicks will recognize the last song on this CD, which Wilson apparently wrote for them.
Warning! Apr 12, 2008 Warning: Free Life will get in your head and you will not be able to play anything else! Very rich multi layers of music will sing to your mind, body and soul. Dan Wilson has the most appealing voice and wonderful lyrics. He has a very unique and creative way of looking at life; he is very original. I had to google him and find out about him and could not believe that he wants to sound like Neil Young. As much as I loved Neil Young as a teenager (and listened to his albums exclusively at one point) I find Dan Wilson much more appealing, fresh and vibrant. I also had no idea he was in Semisonic - Closing Time was one of the few songs on the radio that appealed to me when I was driving my teenage kids/car pool around - it certainly took me back to my youth! If you are feeling stale and unspired about life and need a dose of something to rev you up again, buy this album . It will definitely energize your soul and maybe even make you fall in love again - at least with music and the person you used to be. It brings a freshness to your life and makes you view the people and world that surround you in a new light - or maybe it reawakens what was already there.
