Finally, a complete, solid album from Train! Jul 17, 2009 I love Train. But I don't always love their albums. I find myself skipping tracks. They have a tendency to write corny lyrics just to make words rhyme. Jupiter and Nation were 40 percent fabulous, 30 percent good, and 30 percent regrettable.
For Me, It's You is a SOLID album. Yes, they get a little corny on a couple of tracks (I'm Not Waiting in Line), but the music really makes up for it.
That has to be said, too: The quality of the music is on a higher level than before. Maybe some listeners will think that's a bad thing -- they'll say it's too "pop." Well, guess what? Train is a power pop band, is this is the most consistently powerful, catchy, emotional album they have ever produced. Compared to their previous efforts, FMIY comes in at 80% superb, 10% good, and 10% forgettable.
If you're like me -- a Train fan who has always cringed at a song here and there -- then this album IS the one to buy. You won't regret it.

Not their best Jul 07, 2009 This album does eventually grow on you but it's not my favorite and I hardly listen to it. Lead singer Pat Monahan is in the wrong pitch range for pretty much every song, making it really hard to listen to the whole album in one sitting. Better to stay with 'Drops of Jupiter' and not think about the akward direction Train has gone.

Easy Listening, Good Melodies Jun 07, 2008 This is good old fashion good music with pleasant melodies, a singer with a good voice, and every song solid. Recommended rock and roll.
