 o wow!!! Mar 20, 2009
Well i wanna first start off by saying that i actually rated this album a 4.5!!! I just recently got into metal and hardcore rock music. I am a fan of every type of music but now have my favorite type. What i like the most from this band is their amazing lyrics and their fire to share God in each song. Next these guys have awsum music! the guitars are amazing and hard and have a great pace to them and i love the drums! this album shows of some pretty good drum work but the only thing i found that was not very good was that a few of the songs had the same sound and rythm or rhythm however u spell it. the vocalist is awsum i love the deep growls then brings it down a little then sings. it is a wonderful album and i am a huge fan!

Another Gem from the Best Metalcore Band Ever Dec 14, 2008
War of Ages has continued to impress with each and ever release. "Pride of the Wicked" had awesome breakdowns and sick guitar solos, "Arise and Conquer" had an epic theme and great songwriting, "Fire from the Tomb" fuses rap-like vocals with Leroy's signature roar and mixes it all up with great songs and sick instrumentals. I can't pick just one "War of Ages" album, they're far too good for that. If you dig metalcore with serious skill, great songwriting, and Christ honoring lyrics, look no further.

ALL WAR OF AGES ALBUMS SHOULD BE HEARD MORE BY ALL METAL HEADS SIMPLY BECAUSE IF U KNOW WHAT REAL MUSIC IS U KNOW THEY ARE THE BADEST OF BAD. I DO RECOMMEND U CHECK OUT FACEDOWN RECORDS AND ALSO DEMON HUNTER,KILLSWITCH ENGAGE,ILL NINIO,CHEVEELE,HATEBREED I.C.P.,AND CROSSFADE. ALL OF THESE ARE GREAT BANDS AND PEPOLE MUST REALLIZE IT IS ALL NEW ROCK SO MOVE ON WITH THE OLD HIPPIE 80's MUSIC ITS GAY.

an "old" album sheds new light Oct 04, 2007
surprise! War Of Ages rereleases an old album for 2007. however old it may be, it still kicks serious booty. someone predicted that metalcore was going to eventually kick the bucket, but War Of Ages is here to prove them wrong, if you love Christian metal, get this cd, and check out other Christian metal cd's in the process. Facedown has a great future ahead of it.
