I can't wait for her NEXT album. Aug 11, 2010 I listen to this album front to back over and over again. I'm not too fond of the track Switched but my sister LOVE LOVE LOVES it. It's like Jazmine knew what the world was missing.
it's okay Jul 04, 2010 She has a very nice voice. It's very strong and she can really sing. The cd has a 60ish vibe and it's evident that she has an old soul. I didn't really know what to expect as she is a new (to mainstream anyway) artist, but I was pleasantly surprised!. Her singing reminds me a little of Lauryn Hill.
Jazmine Feb 17, 2010 If you are in your 20's, you might like her. If you are older, you are looking for something more. I smashed the window out your car? Really?

Thank you Glee! Jan 11, 2010 If it wasn't for Glee, I would have never heard this amazing album. When I first listened to it, I thought that Bust Your Window was going to be the best song on there but the more I listened to the album, the more I realized that it was just one side of her. I love how she sings with such emotion. I'm looking forward to her next effort.
Another B.B.G Nov 30, 2009 This girl right here is another artist that I'll put in the "Baby Genius" category. From the time she was on Showtime at the Apollo as a even younger yungin singing "Accept what god allows" to when I heard her voice on Kindred's song "I am a girl I am a woman", (even though I didn't know it was her at the time). I was mesmerized by her voice the same way I am by a Lalah Hathaway, a Whitney Houston a Beyonce. Those are all artist I love partially because they can do "vocal aerobics" with little to no effort. The fact that she's a talented writer as well makes her a BBG. She has a knack for cleverly taking subjects you wouldn't think to make into a song (i.e. Bust the Windows) and take old subjects and delivering them in a brand new way (Lions and Tigers and Bears, In love with another man). The fact that she can "SANG" (not SING) the phone book and still sound good is the icing on the cake. This is a cd you definitely want to own and an artist you want to get to know at the beginning of her rise Don't come late to the party. She's like Beyonce' at her beginning when she was with Destiny's Child. Her future's just that bright.
