 Better than Crazysexycool... Nov 13, 2009
I love just about every song on this album, minus the interludes. Highlights besides "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty" (the two hits everyone knows) are:
Fanmail
I'm good at being bad
If the knew
Don't pull out on me yet
But the entire album is stellar!

I love this album so much. I have always thought that TLC is the best female group there ever was, and this album proves it. I love every single song on this cd. I especially love the title track and I think that it is a wonderful way to open up the album. When It's been 7 years since LeftEye died and I honestly still can't believe it. She was so young and talented and she had so much left to give the world. At least she is in a better place now and her sisters T-Boz and Chilli will continue to carry on her name.

5 years later TLC released their 3rd studio album Fan Mail, a album of mixture of rap, soul and R&B. Before the relase, T Boz stared in films such as Belly with DMX and Nas and had a minor hit solo called I Touched Myself and Chilli stared in HavPlenty
Fanmail- funny at the beginning and turns into a Catchy song. Great Opening.
Silly Ho- Very humorous with T Boz on leads. Especially the line, I never been a silly bitch.
No Scrubs- coolest song but Left Eye's Rap is way better than the album mix.
I'm Good At Being Bad- Starts out as a love song until with a rap leads. Left eye's contribution is very aggressive.
If They Knew- least favorite
Miss You- Soulful track with the girls harmonizing.
Unpretty- Very empowering
It's My Life and Shout- great songs
Overall the album Rocks.RIP Left Eye

You know how an album has a flow to it? This album has no flow. It seems as if the tracks were layed down without a plan.
I was upset because this album felt commercialized and fake. I missed the rawness of original TLC work.
I'm torn, it isn't an artists fault when they want to expand their horizons and push their talent to the limit. Just seems like something was missing on this album. I've owned it for a long time now, I can't believe I'm just getting around to review it now :)
Otherwise, it is a MUST HAVE for any TLC fan, for sure!

this was once my favorite tlc album(now its 3d). the girls were so creative on this one and it was dedicated to the fans.though i wish left eye was used more on this album,not that it upsets me,but we never got a chance to really know her(well all we know was she was crazy),but like t-boz said,it's a figure of speech.most of the tracks are boring but those that make up this album would be:
SILLY HO
NO SCRUBS
IM GOOD AT BEING BAD
I MISS YOU SO MUCH
MY LIFE-WHICH IS MY FAVORITE ON THIS ENTIRE ALBUM
DEAR LIE
LOVESICK
