The Mayfield Four Jul 29, 2009 Fall Out by The Mayfield Four is brilliant, anyone who likes good rock music will love this. If you like to sing-a-long whilst driving, this is the one for you, very classy rock tunes, I suggest you get hold of a copy of this!

A CD that never grows old Aug 07, 2008 I love this band and this CD is amazing! It never grows old, the lead singer has an amazing voice and range. Give this band a shot, give this CD a good listening too and you'll be a fan.
rock with heart Feb 06, 2008 If you didn't know better you would think that Jeff Buckley helped Myles Kennedy write this album; the nods to his style is there...the heart felt blues and candor that echos in his vocals. Don't walk away; overflow; and shuddershell pull at your heart.
But don't think that this makes the album soft in the least.
The balls out hard driving passion can be found here too. This is the sound of a rock band coming into it's own, that intensity makes for a great ride.

Blues rock with an alternative flavor Feb 13, 2005 I saw the mayfield four back in 98 or 99 touring with Big Wreck and the Watchmen, I almost didn't go to see the "special guests: the mayfield four" - never having heard of them before. They had a powerful live performance and a unique trend breaking style, honest lyrics, and simple but thourough composition to their songs. The heavy blues influence is a refreshment from all the generic rock and alternative out there, and this album is full of emotion and adrenaline. There's some beautiful simplicity, and Myles Kennedy (now with Alter Bridge) is without a doubt one of the best vocalists on the air today. Inner city blues was a great cover of an old Myles Davis tune, who is one of the groups major influences.Recommended to any rock, alternative, or light metal fans.

Great, Great, Awesome, and Great! Mar 03, 2002 Heard Second Skin, got hooked after seeing them live, got hooked on Second Skin, heard Fallout, now hooked again. I usually end up liking records more if it takes half a dozen listens to get into the sound. It took that many to realize the sheer genius of this band. Myles Kennedy is so talented it makes me sick. (I too have unfullfilled fantasies of rock stardom but hearing this guy makes me understand why I'm not a star). This record rocks, souls, blues, and cries. It's several years old but is truly timeless. Get it.
