Face The Music NKOTB Aug 24, 2009 I was pleased with this item. It was new, and unopened, but the inside of the case was busted. It did not cause any problems with the CD though.

For Die Hard Lovers....... Jun 10, 2009 The "Intro" is nothing to write home about, but it has that cheesy sampling, which NKOTB doesn't need to add to it's repertoire. They are fine, when they aren't trying to rap..LOL! "You Got The Flava" is a funky R&B jam. I mean, it's not rap and they stay true to their pop roots. It encompasses love and ties it into funk music, very well done. Jordan Knight stays true to his R&B style...enough said! "Dirty Dawg" is a decent cut, I mean they get funky, without overdoing it and the message is clear, that this girl is one trifflin'(did I day trifling?)ho. The sampling here is OK for this tune too.
"Girls" is a smooth and tender tribute to women. It's all about love here, hanging out with her, and making her the center of attention. Jordan & Joe really hone their R&B chops on this. Again, this song could have done without the Wahlberg rap, but very nice, nonetheless. "If You Go Way" is a very beautiful ballad. Joe & Jordan really come together on this one and neither outshines the other, as far as vocals go. Plus, add the Danny Wood R&B style hook and you got a really pretty tune here, well done! "Keep On Smilin'" (featured on the Free Willy Soundtrack) is all about leaving the one you love. It is true that if it is real love, it will conquer all and you bring you back together. This song has sex, love, and groove, all tied together in a nice package, again Joey rocks it.
"Never Let You Go" is my least favorite song on the CD. I mean, it's very well done, but tried too hard to be R&B. The vocals are sharp, but it just sounds like they are whining. "Keepin My Fingers Crossed" has that R&B vibe, with the Hip Hop style. This, to me, is a great club song, with a serious message. It touches on child abandonment and single mothers. It really takes you to the streets and keeps you there, until you come to reality, a cool song! "Mrs. Right" has Joey moving away from his pop roots and just blowing it out of the water. This is a groovy love ballad asking the question, is she really the one?
"Since You Walked Into My Life" is a very endearing tune. Have you ever been in love with someone, it hurts? We all have. Then you have premonitions of what it would be like, if they left? That sums this song up. The boys contribute equally and it comes out beautifully. "Let's Play House" is quirky R&B jam. They are getting their mack on....just showing how they will treat a woman, if she decides to stay, just wanting to prove love, very cutesy, very catchy.
"I Can't Believe It's Over" hit me in the heart. This was shortly after the woman I loved, left me, and when I heard this, WOW! It really puts things in perspective, as far as being in love one minute and losing her the next. For anyone who has lost the love of a lover, listen to this right after they leave and you will definitely cry, just listen to the words. "I'll Still Be Loving You" is by far, the best song on this disc. Joey McIntyre puts all his heart and soul on these vocals and you can feel that you're in love all over again. There is so much passion, sincerity, and devotion in the lyrics to this song and the music is amazing.
"I'll Be Waiting" is a good end to the CD and appropriate (right..Blockheads? They wouldn't release another CD as a group for another 14 years) Danny Wood shows his vocal prowess here, just waiting for his special lady to return. Just thinking about her, loving her, and wanting to see her again. Joe Mac delivers a solid hook in the second stanzas on the verses, too. Even the sampling of Eric B. Is President is a cool addition to this song.
This CD is a refreshing break from the bubblegum pop they were once famous for, unfortunately, it had little commercial success due to the start of the grunge movement. However, if you are a BlockHead, like myself, this is a wonderful CD to listen too, especially if you are, were, or wish to be involved in the lasting relationship, this CD has it all. (It was ahead of it's time and my only critique is that it should have been released in 2008, instead of The Block.)
Good CD May 11, 2009 can't believe i don't remember this CD which is why I got it..the only song I remember is Dirty Dog LOL. Good CD for its time can't believe it didn't get the hype it should have... Thats ok because they have made an amazing come back!

It's really only great if you like 90's music, or the NKOTB May 07, 2009 If I didn't love the New Kids, I would hated this CD. The only reason I really listen to it, is to enjoy and laugh about the silliness of 90's music, and enjoy the New Kids.

Too Cheesy Feb 18, 2009 I am a HUGE NKOTB fan, but for my current age (30's)I found this cd to be quite cheesy. Maybe when I was a younger fan I would have loved it.
