Their best Sep 14, 2009 The title of this album perfectly describes it. It's pure aggression from beginning to end. The production is much better then on Terrible Certainty, and I think the song writing is an improvement as well.
If I had to make a list of the all time greatest thrash albums, there would be no way I could leave this one off, actually, it could possibly take number one. There is not a single weak song on here. The title track is probably their best song ever. Mille's voice is at his best. If you want to get into Kreator, buy this one immediately. Some would say Coma of Souls is better, even though I do love it, I have to disagree, this one wins.
The Archetype for Thrash May 18, 2009 This is probably one of the most amazing records when it was released and still is in my top five for thrash. Extreme Aggressions was Kreator's Major Label Debut. This was originally not a Noise Records release but an Epic Release. Believe it or not Kreator got heavy rotation of their music videos (amazing for 1989) and they were on their way to stardom even before Metallica. Then suddenly...nothing and the band went back into the murky dark depths of Noise Records...which means very little support and very little news coverage. I always wanted to know what happened because I thought this record was better than the major releases from Exodus, Testament, and Metallica at that time.
I got a chance to interview Mike Petrozza in Grand Rapids Michigan during the Renewal tour and found out Noise refused to sell the bands rights to Epic so Epic dropped them. Noise could have made some serious money but instead pissed off Epic and screwed Kreator's potential future as major U.S. stars. The lesson to be learned is do not sign a multi-record deal because the label can drop you at any time but if they want to keep you for life no matter if it ruins your career, they can.
Non the less Mike assured me that Kreator has an extremely loyal fan base in Europe and they still sell out major stadium shows. When I saw them they were playing at a small 200 person venue "The Reptile House" for one reason....so U.S. fans had a chance to see them live. Amazing that a band was willing to loose money in order to make their fans happy.
Get this CD you will not regret it.
kreator has finally come into the mainstream thrash with a fury Apr 26, 2009 with this cd kretor have evolved into a world class headliner and heavy weight thrash champ.finding this cd lyrics growing more intelligent and developing their own niche in thrash metal.kreator starts to gain a ton of respect and can no longer be overlooked they have headlined many festivals ,tours and playered with alot of the other bigger bands and even got some air play on the radio and mtv in the states.this is definetly a must have classic
Kreator CD that rocks Jun 09, 2008 Well.... If you like Kreator, this CD has some of the best riffs (Coma of Souls IMHO last decent Kreator Album)

Not even close to Pleasure to Kill Aug 07, 2007 This album is not even close to the critically acclaimed Pleasure to Kill because it is a much more mature sound. This is when Kreator started to stray away from the Juvenile satan/kill/destroy lyrics (although I like those lyrics very much) and became more focused and centered. Lyrics about having no control over your life (No Reason to Exist), not conforming to modern sound (Love Us Or Hate Us), and being used (Betrayer). There are the angry violent lyrics, from the title track, some pain will last, and bringer of torture. This album is so perfect. There is much better guitar playing on this album than all the previous Kreator albums. This album is amazing and the end of klassic Kreator. The albums after this, starting with Coma of Souls, are good albums, but they aren't the angry thrash metal band we all know and love. This album is great and I reccomend it to anybody who likes metal.
