From Start to Finish May 08, 2006 I notice that the persons who dislike the last 2-3 Jamiroquai releases & compare it to their first 3 releases, are usually the college hippy types. Probably because their first 2-3 albums do tend to lean toward more jam band like music & college hippies seem to listen to nothing but. It's still amazing stuff nonetheless & there's not a Jamiroquai album that I skip tracks when listening to. I think the acoustic tracks on Funk Odyssey challenged the Jamiroquai fans to open their mind up a bit. Synkronized & Dynamite would be considered the most commercially accesible albums. Unfortunately you still won't find them being played in clubs & on the radio in most areas of the US, which is a damn shame.
I'm big on the concept of "old values with new ideas" & that's what Jamiroquai's music is all about in relation to the FUNK.

Feels just like it should... sooo good! Nov 29, 2005 I am a loyal Jamiroquai follower... when they have a new album I don't listen beforehand...I just buy. I have yet to be disappointed and that includes dynamite. Each album has its own feel and this one is just sooo good. I wish Jamiroquai had more of a following in the States because people are often bewildered when I tell them that they are my favorite band. To those that get it... this album will not disappoint. I am constantly becoming obsessed with different tracks the more I listen... Enjoy!

DY-NO-MITE! Oct 28, 2005 This offering by Jamiroquai is amazing. From my first listen I was hooked. Its unfortunate that there are people who will always believe that nobody will ever put out anything as good as their first however many albums. You gotta grow with the artist! If the artist put out stuff that was just like their last release, they'd be stagnant performers, not artists.
Anyway, listen to the samples and then buy the CD. I just wish people in the US appreciated what Jay and his crew have to offer. This will get you dancin' and feelin' good. Check it out!

Best album since Traveling Without Moving, maybe even better Oct 23, 2005 This is a return to form for Jamiroquai. Whereas previous outings had several tracks, that I would skip in my iPod, this one has (almost) none. Most tracks are uptempo, very energetic and contagious. The production is outstanding, as are the arrangements. You won't be disappointed.

GARBAGE Oct 15, 2005 This album is garbage! A lot of people are saying that it reminds them of Traveling Without Moving which I don't understand because THAT my friends is a GREAT album but not this one. Jamiroquai's first three albums are masterpieces in my opinion. The horn arrangements in Emergency On Planet Earth and Traveling are tight and funky. This album lacks the funk and arrangements that made me such a big Jamiroquai fan.
I keep buying his albums hoping that they will get better but they are only getting worse. If you're a fan like me and have to have it, I say buy it used. I was so excited to buy this album that I bought the import before it came out in the states. What a disappointment.
