a little rain on the parade Jan 09, 2007 I just got this cd after reading all these reviews of this being a forgotten classic and how this band was hard done by by the music industry. Well, sometimes the industry is right, this sounds like second rate Bryan Adams. I was expecting to maybe unearth another band like Warrior Soul, a real forgotten classic (now whose back catolog is remastered, natch) what I got is middle of the road AOR, 5 stars my a**. The bonus tracks aren't bad though, but the actual album itself is an attempt to cashin by a band thats just not good enough. Your kid sister might like it.
AOR/Hard Rock Classic Aug 31, 2006 Diving For Pearls had a video with heavy rotation on MTV with the song "Gimme Your Good Lovin'." If you are into bands like Bad English, Alias, Giant and Danger Danger You will not be able to get enough of this classic CD. There is not a bad song on the CD and the musicianship is flawless. You have great power ballads and mid tempo rockers that will leave you wanting more. This is definitely in the top 10 all-time classic AOR CD's. Don't miss out or you will regret it.
dave still loves good music Dec 19, 2004 this is an album that i bought many years ago and exchanged many times as it was scratched the first couple of times that i bought it(yes it was bought on vinyl). But i persivered because as soon as i play the first song it makes me think how great life is and i can do whatever i want to do.It is just one of those albums that wants to make you happy and feel good about yourself.Let me put it this way if you are ever down and need a lift these are the guys to go to.The strange thing is that this band were never bothered by big hairdoes or clothes but were never given a bloody chance by a media who were to obsessed by what was going on in seattle. If you ever do read this review then no matter what i have said please go out of your way to listen to this album as it is bloody good

Killer Late 80's Jam Sep 13, 2003 This is no doubt the very best of the heavy crank it out love tune discs of the 80's. One will never know exactly why Diving For Pearls went their seperate ways and gave it all up. This band could still be rocking today. Too bad they're gone.
