Diana Krall - Live in Paris Aug 01, 2009 Great DVD, bought it for my husband as a gift.
He's more of a jazz fan than me, but I loved it.
Highly recommend...
Came promptly and in good condition.
Diana Krall - Live in Paris May 31, 2009 Diana Krall is a brilliant, young jazz musician. Her ability to play improv piano and sing with such emotion is an unbeatable combination. I ordered this because my brother had seen this video on TV in Chicago and said that in this opinion, Diana is better than Julie London. To me, that was the ultimate compliment.
Krall at her best Jan 31, 2009 Grab the DVD, and watch this talented woman perform. She has
a very intimate relationship with her piano, and the fellow pro-musicians
she invited to accompany her raised the bar and made her make this plain sexy. #10 "East of The Sun" will certainly put you in groovin' mood.
My opinion, her best performance, and a joy to watch.
Amazing performance & DVD quality Oct 31, 2008 I've always loved Diana Krall but I had no idea how amazing she is performing live. I install high-end home theaters. At a recent trade show this DVD was being used for theater demonstrations. The audio and video quality, for a standard definition DVD, are wonderful.

Rare gifts exquisitely enshrined Sep 21, 2008 Diana Krall is what you get when you mix powerful musical gifts with years of hard study and work. Her voice is a sultry joy, and her jazz piano virtuosity inspires awe.
I have some of her CDs and all of them are good, but this performance in Paris is no doubt her best. Sometimes when the moment is right, the preparation is thorough, and other indefinable factors come together in the perfect mix you get a magical performance like this one.
If you love jazz and creatively expressed old standards, you won't be disappointed. Diana's creativity and improvised inventiveness continually amaze. Anthony Wilson's guitar, too, adds so much musicality and improvisation to this quartet; he's a powerhouse in his own right. And the veteran greats Jeff Hamilton and Ray Clayton complete a fabulous quartet.
You can tell with all my superlatives that I like this DVD a lot. I have watched it numerous times, and it does not grow old. By my words do not do it justice.
