Description:

Odder than odd, this remix album removes much of what listeners closely associate as being what Bush is about (pop-Nirvana clones) and turns the focus onto the then-expected electronica craze. "Everything Zen" is remixed twice and given audibly different treatments. The Derek DeLarge mix, in particular, barely keeps the song in place. The emphasis on so much drums and bass from a band not known for their rhythmic abilities (Bush excel with the stop-and-start, not the keep-on-groovin') creates an entirely new group--one which ironically should appeal to folks who never cared in the first place. Not a bad experiment. --Rob O'Connor

4Different take for Bush fans  Jul 23, 2009

IDK, I think this is an interesting take on Bush's music.(Band, not George)I picked it up used and enjoy it here and there. Especially after 4:20. It did take some getting used to, but pop it in while working around the house and it gets catchy. Until someone else steps up and tries again, for Bush, this is it. I would recommend wasting money on this.

3A good Attempt but could be better....  Jan 09, 2009
Remixes come in different forms, remixing a song to the point where all instruments of the band are removed, than it's no longer the group or "bush" in this case but the remixer and "the vocalist".Remixing and removing all instruments and starting over from the begining is one way of remixing but it should "not" be the rule, this should be the exception.Remixes from the past done on "metal" or "Hard rock" for an example, kept some of the original and only added to or slightly removed certain things to "TWEK" the song and make it interesting, personally i don't have a problem with this type of remixing [ where all the song is completly changed or done from scratch ],but remixers should stay within "the general lines" not all of the time but " at times " and give fans and the general public a more modest remix for "rock","alternative" or "metal"

I.E [ 12 Version,Extended mix,Extended remix ] instead of a "total wipe out" everytime.....

Most "DJ'S" or "Remixers" today, think they are "GOD" and remix the way they do for "full credit" and "more money" and not always for the best interest of the song, remember making "noise" is not talent, babies can do that.....

some djs or remixers are hopless and make songs very boring or simplistic and lack creativity

2This album is not what it should have been.  Dec 10, 2008
I understand the point of remix albums as the original artists (or other artists/producers/etc.) want to make their previously released songs sound different. The issue is that Bush's music does not flow very well when it is remixed to electronic music. Bush's music would have come off better with industrial remixes. Instead we get bland 7:00 remixes of songs that sound like they came from rave clubs. People should turn elsewhere for a good remix album. Rob Zombie's "American Music Made To Strip By" is much better.

5Best re-mix song ever on this CD - Mouth  May 22, 2008

5Bush Deconstructed  Jul 19, 2006
If you like BUSH and ambient/techno sounds then you will like this cd becaue it is a combination of the two. It's very well put together and you won't be able to put this cd away.[Also] There is also a known song in this cd: 'MOUTH'; which some may recognize from the movie American Werewolf in Paris.
