 best albums from one of the greatest 90s group! Dec 22, 2009
i love crazy.sexy.cool. this has classic written all over it. i do have memories of that era. the video waterfalls is epic especially the lyrics "don't go chasing waterfalls". i love how each member of the group have their own distinct personalities. left eye is the crazy one. chilli is the sexy one. t-boz is the cool one. combine all those elements together and you'll get tlc!!! and you will see their personalities reflect through the songs on this album. i miss tlc. they were one of the best groups of the 90s and they'll never be forgotten. guys, i recommend that you get this album if you're looking for the best tlc album or just 90s music in general. this one is a keeper!!!
TOP 5:
1) Creep-"so i creep yea..just keeping it from the download". this was their biggest hit from the 90s. brings back great memories.
2) Red Light Special-this track is HOOOOOT!!!! can i get a witness??? lol very very sexy. it makes you want to seduce your lover. perfect track if you're looking for that. i love how t-boz's vocals sound so sensual and laidback.
3) Waterfalls-this would have to be one of tlc's signature song along with the video. this song has a great message for people struggling and trying to overcome their problems. this is one of the reasons why 90s music was so great.
4) Case Of The Fake People- this song is geared towards people who tries to befriend you but do sneaky things behind your back. it's one of my favorite songs on this album. i can somehow relate to this song. i have encountered fake people..just people who doesn't seem to be the kind person you thought they were. that' why it's good to get rid of those kind of people from your life to avoid all that drama.
5) Let's Do It Again-another baby making song. it's as sensual as red light special.

TLC's best album will always be CrazySexyCool. Dont get me wrong because Oooooooohhh On The TLC Tip was a great album too but this album was nicely put together with a lot of hot tracks that showed TLC's true potential and talent.
Creep, Diggin On You, Kick Your Game and Switch showed you that TLC can hold their own with the fast tracks. Red Light Special, Let's Do It Again, and Take Our Time are soulful love ballads that would keep this album in constant rotation. Tracks like Case Of The Fake People, Waterfalls and Something Wicked This Way Comes are the reasons why I have the utmost respect for TLC: you are guaranteed to get a track of substance from them unlike these R&B artists nowadays that are all about sex, sex and more sex. Now I know that there are a few exceptions in R&B now but a few exceptions are not enough to save a wonderful genre from being on life support.
At any rate I gave this album five stars because I cant think of any bad songs on this album and even the silly skits with Busta Rhymes dont sound out of place on here. CrazySexyCool is one of the best R&B albums of all time by the best R&B trio to grace the mic and is definitely worth being in the collection of everybody thats a fan of Old School R&B.

so, TLC, 2nd album, super marvelous R&B, the production is simply great, J.D., Dallas Austin, Babyface...although i already knew the singles i fell in love again with "Diggin' On You" and the favourite album track i think it would be "Let's do It Again", it's just a great sexy slow jam. The Prince rendition is pretty cool, and well they definetly make R&B crazy, sexy and super cool.

another album that should be in everyone's collection. i never thought they had the best voices, but it all just flows together nicely. their lyrics are sometimes deep and sometimes fun and the beats bring alot to the table as well.
