canadian songstress Aug 19, 2009 chantal is not only gorgeous, but her voice is like a viking goddess. sweet words that flow from a phenomenal voice and a beautiful pianist, makes for a musician like no other. her songs are so lovely, i look forward to many years of extraordinary music. keep playing your music chantal... this is the c.d. that launched her by the way ;).
Colour Moving & Still Apr 07, 2009 Every Chantal CD is great. I bought this one because I already had all the others. Best tracks are Before You, Far Away and Dear Life. I have no clue why she isn't a bigger star in the U.S.

Incredible Aug 21, 2007 Not only is this Chantal's best album, but probably one of my favorite music collections of all time! Everything you want and expect from a musical experience is here. Incredible songs. A remarkable, lush voice. A flawless, brilliant production. Great use of instruments. Emotional highs and lows. This is the Chantal album to own. While her first effort is too rough and her 3rd album is too commercial, Colour Moving and Still is Chantal's artistic masterpiece. Do yourself a favor and pick this up immediately. Get this first before you buy her new album. You won't regret it...

One of my "deserted island" albums... Oct 10, 2006 I discovered Chantal "by accident" when she opened for the Barenaked Ladies in Las Vegas a few years back. I picked up this album that night, and have since purchased others. All of her music is WONDERFUL, but if you are looking for a beautiful introduction to her work, pick this one up. It is pure vocal art...and on my list of 20 CDs I wouldn't want to be without if stranded on that proverbial island in the middle of the ocean.

You'll want to replay it a few more times Jun 26, 2006 Just beware: this cd is the kind of those you want to leave on your Car CD player. You'll want to play it again, but too much of it and you'll be ending singing all songs in there. Lovely, fresh, nice!
