He's Baaaaaaaack... Apr 25, 2009 Cold Fact is the long-lost album from Detroiter Rodrguez. Recorded during the heyday of Detroit Rock this album has a life of its own. It cannot die or pass away from neglect. Each song is a revelation in lyrical songwriting. Rocking the life of a street poet, Rodgriguez' takes on life, love and mindbending are as fresh and current today as when it was recorded (1970). "Sugarman", the album opener is an instant classic. My fave track is "I Wonder", the song that kept this album alive half way round the world. This is a collector's dream and a must-have for anyone interested in purity, honesty and jams.
Look what you've been missing... Mar 03, 2009 A friend suggested that I check Rodriguez out, and I have already passed in along to at least 3 other friends. This album is something special, and it's been out since the early 70's. His story is interesting and that makes the songs that much more so. I love this album.
Damn Feb 10, 2009 Damn I can't believe he is now getting some eposure from this, this cd rocks.
Great CD Feb 06, 2009 This is a fantastic CD with lyrics that sound eerily relevant today. Sixto is an engaging artist. Very enjoyable.

A recovered treasure Sep 02, 2008 Also heard it on NPR and discovered it. It's a brilliant album, cover-to-cover, one of the true ones you can listen to in order and just sit back and enjoy. It really has a theme and a progression.
Beautiful stuff.
