Falling in Love at the Coffee Shop Jul 15, 2009 Every time I heard the commercial on TV featuring the title song, I found myself singing what few lyrics I knew for days. Finally I Googled the lyrics and discovered who sings the song. I then bookmarked his site and listened to the song every day from the site. Eventually the time came when I was curious enough to buy the album and I'm very glad I did. I love his voice, he has chosen amazing musicians and with the exception of the last cut (which he inexplicably decides to sing in Spanish), I love the songs on the album. I am very impressed with this young musician and look forward to hearing more from him as he matures.
Love it! Jul 08, 2009 A great little CD, some of the same songs as the LP, but a little different - different enough to buy this one too! I don't know why Magnetism sounds so much better in Spanish, but it does. Of course, this one has the song that is on all of those commericals too. I highly recommend getting both the LP and this one!

Still no product Jun 13, 2009 Today marks 30 days since I ordered this product which was supposed to be received on 6/5 (the latest date promised). Sent an e-mail last week requesting transaction be cancelled and money be credited back to me, have not received any response.

I'm happy I bought a Pigg in a poke May 12, 2009 I can't believe I discovered this artist because of a TV commercial but then again where else besides a TV show soundtrack or a video game can you hear new music.New is a relativistic term since the EP was released in 2007 but without TV it didn't get exposure. I plunged all the way in buying both this EP and his debut album and on listening got the smug satisfaction that I hadn't wasted my money. Some of the vocals reminded me of David Gates of Bread fame, ethereal, beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Ay, Dios nos libre! Mar 07, 2009 I really wanted to give this CD four or five stars. Then I listened to Magnetismo. UGH! What was he thinking? The Spanish vocals are ATROCIOUS. I don't think I've heard anyone butcher Spanish so badly. It was laughable and totally unnecessary. Who told this young man he could sing in Spanish? My ears are still hurting! What a disaster.
My advice to Landon, do yourself a favor and listen to Eydie Gorme sing with Trio Los Panchos. Now that is the ultimate example of an English speaker who can sing fluently in Spanish.
On a positive note, Landon's vocals are earnest and somewhat reminiscent of David Gates, the great lead singer from the 70's group Bread. Coffee Shop is a lovely and sweet love song that evokes (for me, at least) memories of innocent love. His vocals are smooth are heartfelt.
Landon, please stay away from the Spanish!
