Cee-lo review Oct 21, 2009 This album is good, in fact it was much better than I thought it would be. Check it out if you are looking for something different.
Deserves more credit and praise May 08, 2008 This is perhaps one of the best albums I have ever heard. From song to song, I was left waiting for when he would let up, only to find another great track. He simply never lets up the entire album.
Every rhyme, twist of phrase, clever hook, or crazy idea is something that shows he is head and shoulders above most of his fellow MCs. And he can sing, too!
It's just plain funky. In all honesty, I don't think he's received the type of credit he deserves for this album. Perfect Imperfections is essentially a solo artist's version of what Outkast did with Stankonia and Speakerboxxx, and possibly superior. It's just as creative, and fuses several musical genres flawlessly.
Cee-Lo Green has an incredibly original musical talent, and this album will always be in my queue. I'd mention a favorite song, except for the fact that the first seven songs on the CD are just amazing; and the rest of the album keeps up. It's one of the best albums I've ever heard, and I'll buy everything he does until he proves that he's lost his touch. It's just a shame that many people didn't learn of Cee-Lo until the Gnarls Barkley fame.

The truth Mar 28, 2007 Cee-lo is able to bring to music what the sun brings to life; a new day. WIth his creative thoughts, soulful sound and unique personality he is able to catch your attention and once he has it, he never lets it go.

Cee-Lo's first album (solo) Mar 09, 2007 Very good. Came on time, and it was worth every penny

HOT! Jul 13, 2006 I'm a little late on picking this up, I know. I've always been aware of Cee-lo, but never got around to listening to his stuff. Then, of course, Gnarls Barkley breaks onto the scene; and I finally decided, "I should take a peek at his earlier stuff..."
Man, I'm so glad I did!!! This is some good stuff right here. It actually makes his Gnarls Barkley project seem inferior.
While he sounds like an angry little dwarf when rapping, his lyrics and flow more than make up for his cave dweller rapping voice.
His singing voice... OH MAN!!! This guy is so soulful!!! I've read some crap that he doesn't have very much flexibility as a singer... BULLCRAP! His singing his so soulful and so pleasant.
Oh, and his production on this record is CRAZY! This is one talented little man, right here.
Pick this up NOW!!!
