Certainly The Lord Will Guide Me Where I Need To Go!! Jul 09, 2005 The best ballad from the Rainbow album, released in 1999, is Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme)(4:32). I totally love this wonderful slow ballad and it's my favorite song off Rainbow. I love that part in the bridge that goes "Certainly The Lord Will Guide Me Where I Need To Go." I totally love it when she sings that part and I feel the same as Mariah, the Lord Jesus will guide ME where I need to go. Amazing!!!
The Morales Revival Triumphant Mix (10:30) is my favorite club mix of Mariah's Theme because it features a choir and Mariah speaks in the very beginning with different words that you don't hear in the Album Version and I feel like I'm in church when I hear it. It's awesome!!
The Morales Club Mix (7:46) is another really cool club mix and the music is really unique and I love it almost as much as the Morales Revival Triumphant Mix!!
The Morales Instrumental (7:45) is just an instrumental version of the Morales Club Mix and it's cool as well!!
Crybaby (5:19) is the Rainbow Album Version with Snoop Dogg and it's a pretty cool up-tempo R&B/Hip-Hop song.
Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme) is another inspirational song like Hero and Anytime You Need A Friend and I totally love it!!

Beautiful Song, Beautiful Message Jun 28, 2005 Mariah's "theme" is quite lovely, my 2nd fav Mariah ballad (my 1st being "Vision of Love"). Her voice is tremendously powerful, and the lyrics (co-written by the great Diane Warren) are actually meaningful, unlike the Ashanti-Ciara-Christina Milian crap we have today. Mariah's masterpiece, in my opinion.
Barely Average Song...Superior Single Jul 08, 2004 "Can't Take That Away", while full of undoubtedly touching lyrics, fails in comparsion to RAINBOW's other ballads("Thank God I Found You", "Against All Odds", "After Tonight"), which makes this a very odd single choice. It's no surprise that the track's only exposure came with serving as the B-side to the US single release of the far more worthwhile "Crybaby" (one of Mariah's best experimentations with hip-hop, in my opinion). Although this duo of tracks never even cracked the US Top 20, the Maxi-single itself deserves a very honorable mention. The newly recorded lyrics alone make the Morales Revival Triumphant Mix attention-worthy, not to mention a great dance beat. Morales's brilliance continues to shine through with the scorching hott Club Mix and accompanying Instrumental. The single comes to a close with the album versions of both tracks. I would have much rather received a stateside single release for "Against All Odds" (which became a smash hit in the UK and across the globe), but David Morales's typically mindblowing dance mixes give this single reason to exist.
