This book is very helpful. chances are you can beat the game without it. however if u desire to beat it a 100% i say get this book

I love final fantasy, but the question is, who doesn't? lol
the shipping of this guide took some time, but it was okay, since i love to expect stuff coming in the mail.
i love the game crisis core, and the guide was helpful with the missions. ^^
Solid, though not without several flaws Jul 29, 2009
Overall, this is a very good strategy guide that I WOULD recommend to others. But, keep in mind the following:
- If you want to avoid spoilers, avoid reading the paragraphs on the first page of each new chapter. They summarize the events of that chapter.
- There are quite a few errors littered throughout the book. So far, I've noticed a few incorrect item locations in the mission section, the name of one mission is plain not even listed in its little subsection (The Five Saints of Wutai), the list of skills necessary to earn the Magic Pot on the DMW is slightly incorrect (should be Fira, not Fire), etc. etc. Just be weary. They're not major, but they are noticable.
Other than that, this guide is great. It can really help you out if you ever get stuck, and the mission strategies are great. If you don't own the Materia they're suggesting you use, you can always use a lesser form of it or look up the enemies in the very thorough bestiary to see what would be effective against them. Oh! Before I forget, this guide also has a whole section devoted to how the DMW and combat system work so no longer will you be confused about that. Also, the fold-out poster is a godsend for those looking to get the most out of materia fusion.

Very detailed step by step intructions on how to get through with colorful depictions of what to do. A must buy for a true Crisis Core fan!

I am one of those people who must uncover every item, secret, and ending that's available in a game. And though this guide provides those options to me, the trade-off is having the story spoiled well-before I've earned it. Granted its the price to pay since I chose to use a cheat book, but I just wanted people to know what they're in for should they decide to purchase it.
Other than that it's an excellent enhancement to your gaming experience!!
