Great content, disappointing quality Feb 19, 2009 Let me start off the review by saying I am a HUGE fan of Bruce Dickinson, he is my idol and inspiration to start singing (Yes I started singing because of him). I love all his solo stuff and I listen to it on a daily basis. So I found this in HMV and me being a Bruce fan, I couldn't resist. The content seemed tempting- 3 shows, and lots of music videos as well as an EPK and Samson video!
The Tattooed Millionaire show was one Bruce wasn't very fond of. THat's rather odd since it's a great show, and one of his best. However, the quality is rather disappointing, the video is very grainy and the sound quality is rather ancient. Next we have the Skunkworks gig, which is alone what's worth the price of this DVD. Filmed on two dates in Spain on the tour, it contains mostly Skunkworks songs, but some other ones too. And we even get a Maiden song too! The Prisoner is performed pretty good, if a bit too fast. The sound quality is slightly better, but the image quality is still rather sad.
Next we have "Scream For Me Brazil" which, while you can't deny is a great performance, has absolutely terrible quality. The sound is rather muffled and the video looks like it was takem from an overplayed videotape. It's a good setlist, but apparently the video was taken from the screen feeder.
The extras are pretty cool. We have the Tyranny of Souls EPK, which is pretty cool. Then we have Biceps of Steel, which is a Samson video. It's fun to watch and is a nice little segment from Samson. And the music videos are pretty good.
Anyways, it's a good DVD for the content, but be warned of Bad quality.
Great DVD! Dec 25, 2007 I think it's a good choice if you are a Bruce Dickinson's fan. It comes with 3 DVDs, wich has the better musics, so you won't be disappointed.
I give it a 4 star rather than 5, because I think that the image quality could be better, but it's good althought.

For serious Bruce fans, this is a must-have! Feb 24, 2007 The first DVD features Bruce playing a club gig in 1990 on the Tattooed Millionaire tour. It has a fun feel to it, and the songs are done properly. Bruce and Janick Gers seem to have a good deal of fun at this show, and that is good to see!
The second DVD is the real gem here, though. Bruce in San Paolo with Adrian Smith and Roy Z. on guitars, this is one awesome show. The song selection is close to perfect, playing mostly numbers from The Chemical Wedding and Accident of Birth. Songs like "Killing Floor" and "Book of Thel" are given a shot of adrenaline live. This is Bruce solo in his finest hour. And the best song from Accident of Birth, "Darkside of Aquarius" is another highlight from this show.
The thing that holds this collection back from a 5 star rating is that the audio could have been cleaned up from the live shows.
Disc Three contains all of Bruce's solo videos, some are absolutely awesome, i.e. "Tears of A Dragon" while others are a bit cheesy like "Tattooed Millionaire."
The interview with Bruce is very cool. He talks about how he met Roy Z. Also contains an in-depth look at the songwriting process and the songs from "Tyranny of Souls."
If you are a die-hard Bruce fan I recommend this collection.

Well, no one's perfect Feb 02, 2007 A smarter person than I once said, "It seems impossible for Bruce Dickinson to release a bad product." Well, unfortunately, this seems to be it.
I won't delve into the contents - plenty of other reviewers have done that.
The live performances are certainly full of energy, as is typical of Bruce. The video is below average at best. While this isn't a hidden feature (it's been described a number of places, including the booklet with the DVD), the major disappointment is the sound quality. First of all, it's only provided in dolby digital stereo - no surround sound. Secondly, the live performances sound remarkably flat. In fact, the sound for the second DVD doesn't even match the quality of the CD for this show. It's too bad, because a good quality sound could have made this an awesome DVD.

Disappointing Jan 22, 2007 With technology as progressed as it is in this age, why does a production company release sub standard recordings? The video quality is that of old VCR technology, even saying that is offering more credit than the video is entitled to. The sound is mono. This would be a good video to play on your cell phone screen but play it on a home theatre setup and you will be disappointed. The only redemeaming quality of this three DVD set is the 3rd DVD. Save your money and invest in high quality. After all, that is what a DVD is suppose to be. I enjoy Iron Maiden and very much enjoy Bruce's work but this video project is a let down. I would have loved this video 25 years ago but not in 2007
