My daughter's favorite book Nov 16, 2009 My daughter is 2 and she loves this book, it is her favorite. She already knows the name of all the animals in the book. I think is a very educational book and will be buying the others too.
Early Reader Nov 10, 2009 Brown Bear is one of my favorites books to encourage young children to "read". I bought this copy for a little boy, Michael Paul. Michael is 2 years, 5 months old. His mother works for my doctor and I see her often. She tells me that Michael "reads" Brown Bear to her at his bed time. The story line is simple, the words are repetitious and the pictures give great clues to what the words say. This gives a child a feeling of reading, a powerful thrill to a non reader. While teaching first grade years ago, my young students were so fond of this book that they took to hiding it at the end of the school day so they could have it the next day.
I received a lovely note from Mom and Michael thanking me for the book. I feel that I may have started another youngster on a life of reading!
TODDLER MUST BOOK Nov 02, 2009 THIS BOOK HAS BEEN A FAVORITE FOR ALL OF MY GRANDCHILDREN. THEY LOVE THE RHYME, THE ANIMALS, AND THE LOVE.
Brown Bear, Brown Bear Oct 26, 2009 I was looking for a specific year edition copy of Brown Bear, Brown Bear. I was delighted when I received the correct year I requested. I received it in a timely fashion and it was in great condition.
Thanks,

Courtesy of Kids @ Teens Read Too Oct 08, 2009 Many parents have applauded their young child as they master the wonderful story BROWN BROWN, BROWN BEAR, WHAT DO YOU SEE? Now, Macmillan Young Listeners has taken the story one step further. This collection contains the audio book read by the actress Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as an oversized paperback copy of the famous story.
The book contains all the wonderful and simple illustrations that Eric Carle is famous for. It's the complete repetitive story of all the animals that are found, leading up to the surprising ending.
However, what this package has that previous versions of the story had been lacking is the enchanting reading of the story by Ms. Paltrow. Using her soft and flowing voice, the words that could be trying to a parent who has heard the story many, many times becomes a new and wonderful experience.
The book and CD will surely keep little ones occupied. Whether sitting on the bed or riding in the car, the repeating "what do you see" will keep them laughing and guessing for hours.
