Paramore is headed for greatness Mar 17, 2010 Being almost 40 years old, I'm not easy to impress. But this band has pulled it off now three albums in a row. This is a band where each member contributes in a major way and together they achieve an amazing synergy.

Review of "brand new eyes" by Paramore. Mar 14, 2010 I just bought this cd earlier this month after hearing "Brick By Boring Brick" and a couple of other songs on youtube. Here's what I thought:
Careful(5/5) - This is one of my favorites. it sounds like some of the earlier songs of theirs that I've heard (Crushcrushcrush & That's What You Get were the only two I'd ever heard until recently).
Ignorance(5/5) - At first, I didn't like this song. After listening to it a couple times, I decided that it was good. I mean, the lyrics are kinda dark, but I like that it's fast paced.
Playing God(5/5) - "Next time you point a finger, I'll point you to the mirror!" That's my favorite line in the song. It's a bit slower than other songs, but I think the lyrics are awesome.
Brick By Boring Brick(5/5) - This is another favorite of mine. The "Ba da ba da ba da ba da" part is really cool.
Turn It Off(6/5 :D) - This is my absolute favorite off the album. It's kind of deppressing, but in a good kind of way.
The Only Exception(4/5) - Isn't my favorite, but I like the bridge and the end.
Feeling Sorry(3/5) - Another not bad song. It wasn't very catchy to me.
Looking Up(5/5) - The "Whoa oh-oh-oh, whoa oh-oh-oh" part is catchy. I like that it's a bit more upbeat than some of the other songs.
Where The Lines Overlap(4/5) - I like this song. The instrumental ending is really cool. Only problem was that it just slightly reminded me of "Looking Up".
Misguided Ghosts(5/5) - I like the lyrics, and the acoustic guitar is really awesome. I just wish it was a bit longer.
All I Wanted(5/5) - I really like Hayley's vocals in this. It's really sad, though.
All in all, if you asked me wether you should buy this album, I'd tell you yes. Absolutely. I'm really glad I bought it, and you will be too.

Great listening! Mar 04, 2010 This CD has surpassed my expectations. Paramore never fails to give it's fans great music. Before I ordered the CD, I heard some songs on their website, and had to order it for myself. I was so excited when I ordered it and now I listen to them all the time. Paramore has songs that are so positive and encouraging. Great music to listen to with all ages. They will never get old.

Paramore is back with a new CD and they deliver a 4 star quality piece of music Mar 02, 2010 Paramore Brand New Eyes CD Review
For the first time since there last release Riot in 2007, Parmore is back with a new CD Brand New Eyes and it was well worth the wait. Brand New Eyes shows why Paramore is such a popular band with teenagers.
It shows who the star of the band is and that is Hayley because she sings on every track and has such an amazing voice. The Band was at one point very close to breaking up because the guys in the band were jealous that Hayley was getting all the attention but thankfully they were able to work things out. On the track looking up Hayley says I can't believe we almost hung it up which to me shows that there back to stay for a long time. It also shows that the guys in the band had a reason to be jealous of Haley because the media was right, she good looking, has a great voice, and carries most of this CD.
While the lead single was very good with Ignorance I feel the track that stood out on this CD was Careful to kick off the CD. It has a nice up tempo pace just like the CD for the most part. Ignorance the lead single is also very good song. It contains a very fast pace that keeps youre attention and while the verses are subpar the chorus is what standout in the song with again Hayley voice being so tremendous.
My least favorite track on the CD was Misguided Ghosts. The song just doesn't have any flow to it and while I like lower tempo songs this was to slow. The verses were way to short and dragged out by a very monotone chorus. This song seemed like a filler song so the band would have more than ten songs on their CD.
For the pace of the CD it is up tempo for the most part which was able to keep my attention. The only two songs that had a really slow pace were The Only Exception and Misguided Ghosts. Like I pointed out earlier I did not enjoy Misguided Ghosts but I feel they fit The Only Exception in there perfect at track six to give the listener a chance to have a slower pace track. My top three tracks for this CD are Careful, Brick By Boring Brick, and Looking Up. My least three favorite tracks on this CD are Feeling Sorry, All I Wanted, and Misguided Ghosts.
According to [...] Paramore is set to take the number one spot on the billboard charts next week selling between 180-190k for the week.
Overall Brand New Eyes is a CD that any Paramore fan should have and any rock fan should check out. It has a great pace for the whole CD so it keeps you interested. I would go with a B+ for the CD and a strong recommendation to check it out.
