OZZY AT HIS BEST Oct 23, 2009 buy the 1992 remaster of this album, not this sacrilage that this is.if you want to re-record the album re-record it.don't just re do certain parts. in it's original form this is a bonafide 5 star release.

Sacrilege Sep 03, 2009 1 : a technical and necessarily intrinsically outrageous violation (as improper reception of a sacrament) of what is sacred because consecrated to God
2 : gross irreverence toward a hallowed person, place, or thing

Rob Aug 25, 2009 I bought this CD without realizing that it been so drastically changed and that the bass and drums were actually new recordings by other people. But when I played the CD I thought "I don't remember the song sounding like this", so I checked the CD to only discover the truth. The rest of the reviews here can go into detail, read them if you will, But I can tell you one thing: This remaster sucks!
I don't know the politics behind this travesty, nor do I care, but I will never listen to this one again, and I am going to purchase the older remastered version that still has all of the original music on it.
Don't buy this CD, you will be sorry.

The drums and bass sound like garbage Aug 17, 2009 Why it gods name did Ozzy do this remaster and redo of the bass and drums....the drums are horrible. This redo sounds like rejected demo's and take the power away from these songs.

Blizzard of Ozz Aug 13, 2009 I was at Hara Arena in Dayton Ohio on May 9 1981 and saw The Blizzard of Ozz Tour. The opening act that night, MotorHead. One of the best Metal Shows I've ever seen. I was a big Ozzy fan. Now, not so much. They have destroyed a Rock n Roll Master piece. Greed is an ugly monster. One star is one to many.
