Jumped into the middle of his albums Apr 08, 2009 I really only wanted 'Some Beach' and got a couple of other bright spots. Not really an old fan so I can't complain.
"SOME BEACH IS THE ONLY GOOD SONG Mar 15, 2009 I am quite surprised at all of the 5 star reviews. I like Blake Shelton. However the music here is just sub-par. Truly all is forgettable except "Some Beach." I would recommend Blake's Barn And Grill DVD with "Some Beach" on it. "Austin" and "The Baby" are on it as well.
Don't waste your money on this one!!!
Love Blake Shelton! Sep 24, 2008 What can I say, I have four of his albums and I love them all! I can't think of one song on ANY of the CD's that I don't like. I've seen him live, twice, and he's just as good in person. Puts on a great show. I just about wore out all of his CD's as I've played them over and over. I turned all three of my girls into Blake Shelton fans.
I look forward to any new CD's he has coming out in the future. Blake is one of those artists that you don't need to hear any of the song before you buy them. You know you won't be disappointed.
Oh, did I mention he's cute?
More fun from Blake Shelton Jan 12, 2008 The title of this CD isn't the only display of what I've come to know and enjoy as Blake's "signature wit". "Some Beach" is a very witty, funny song with a storyline that everyone can relate to. This is a great CD!
I was smitten by Blake Shelton's humor during the "Clash of the Choirs" and really hoped he would win the contest because of the amazing sound his choir produced. This prompted me to borrow every one of his CDs from the library. WOW! And I am NOT a country music fan! Well, maybe now I am... Blake's humor (and tender heart) comes through loud and clear in his music.
A break-out album Nov 03, 2007 This is my first purchase of Blake Shelton's work. I bought it for one cut, "Some Beach," but just about every song is great.
