A Great Concert! Nov 09, 2009
Sara shows her sassy side in this live CD/DVD -- her music is an easy listen, with a ton of lyrics which I can relate to. Loved her cover of Sitting on The Dock Of The Bay.

Sara Bareilles presents a refreshing new harmonious songs and lyrics, a pleasure to my ears and defiant to my brain.
My hope is that she would mature to continue and generate more extraordinary songs and lyrics in the years to come.

Between the Lines: Sara Bareilles Live at The Fillmore was a joy to watch. I love her album, Little Voice and I was curious about this DVD. Glad I made this purchase, this live concert is entertaining and moving. Sara's voice is just as strong as it is on the album, no studio Barbie Doll - she can sing her face off!! Gravity is my favorite song and she definitely does the gorgeous ballad justice. I highly recommend this amazing DVD, enjoy!
Excellent DVD from an excellent artist Jun 28, 2009
I never write reviews but felt I had to write this one.
I first heard of Sara Bareilles in the way that most people did. I heard "Love Song" on the radio and liked it. Bought the album and found it very enjoyable. Beautiful voice, smart lyrics, well written music. A pleasant change from the usual pablum you hear nowadays.
Then I went to one of her concerts and was totally blown away. This woman has to be seen and heard live to be really appreciated. Her voice is incredibly powerful, clear, and versatile.
Another great thing about her is interaction with the audience. People really seem to like her and she seems genuinely happy and surprised that they do.
Long story short, bought the Fillmore DVD after the live concert and really thought it was great. Next best thing to being there.
You see her interacting with the audience, their reaction to her.Just great.
I think that she really thrives in a live environment.
Highly recommended to anyone who loves great music and would appreciate a great artist.

Excellent dvd/bonus cd, A superstar on the rise! Jun 17, 2009
Sara played her cd Little Voice LIVE in an quite excellent performance. This is better than the studio version. As other guys reviews mention, the dvd/bonus cd has many bonus material that gives you a good insight about this young woman, who is an excellent singer, songwriter/composer, quite charming and funny. If you really want to know if someone is good, watch them in a live performance. She performs like she owns the stage. Reaches every note and gives a new dimension to her material from Little Voice. In City, it reminds me of B. Hornsby music, and she is quite a piano player whose songs have a great beat. I watched and listened to this concert in my computer with my earphones, to flavor every single sound coming from her performance. Her new composition shows she has some great stuff coming, which sadly is not out. Come on Sarah we want more music from you!
