4this is the disc you want for the Zukerman/Boulez performance of the concerto  Sep 07, 2008
Although there is a newer, in-print release of this performance of the concerto in the 'Boulez edition' series on Sony, somehow a distracting brief dropout in the sound was introduced at 13:23 in the second movement, which does not occur on this older release. Also, the performance of the Three Orchestral Pieces here, although with the same orchestra, is a 1984 recording (the other from 1967) and a more intense, focused reading than that found on the newer release.
