I have used this book to teach my Adult Sunday School classes. It is an excellent curriculum to "jumpstart" your "baby Christians". It is also a good book for anyone who feels that they are not leading the victorious life God intended.

Joyce delivers a great book underlying the basic principles on positive thinking and how we can go about this, using Biblical references and quotes. She gives great advice and insight into her past mental and emotional problems, wilderness mentality, negative thinking patterns, anger, etc and tells us how she used God's word to change the way she thought. After all, our thinking makes us who we are, and leads us to make either positive or negative decisions. I highly recommend this book, it is also great in understanding how spiritual warfare starts in the mind, and what we can do as God's children to win the fight against Satan and his dominion and come to a closer relationship with God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Joyce Meyer is right on target with this book! We are able to transform ourselves by the renewing of our mind...just as scripture says! We don't have to buy into the lies in our head like..."I'm not good enough" or "strong enough" or "it's just my personality to be so negative." By opening up our minds to Gods purpose and direction for our lives...we CAN be set free!
