"Must Have" CD for your Freestyle Collection! Apr 16, 2007 This CD is by far one of the most well put together freestyle dance albums. Especially considering it was a COLUMBIA release. MicMac, Metropolitain and all those other labels have nothing on this one.
Combination of Energy and Melody Aug 04, 2006 This album brings lots of memories back for me every time I listen to it. This was one of my first albums I purchased here in the States. As a huge fan of dance music, I must confess, I was quite disappointed as I learned that dance music was lacking here in the States enormously. The only dance Americans had was by UK's "Depeche Mode" and "Pet Shop Boys" or Germany's "Camouflage". I noticed that people here were missing out a great deal of English singing dance projects born in central Europe, especially in Germany.
Honestly, I was deeply surprised when I heard LaMond's "Without You" the first time on radio, I had long stopped expecting such energetic music coming out of the States' music market. I totally fell in love with the guy's vocal delivery and his music. Within the next 24 hours I had purchased LaMond's "Bad of the Heart" cassette album and I had already spun it in my car's tape player for at least 5 times.
I must say that every track is special in its own way, I personally love "Without you", "Love's Contagious", "Look into My Eyes" and "Stop that Girl". His energy and melodic delivery is present within every track of this album. LaMond's vocals and Chris Barbosa's music is a fine portrayal of American New Wave.
Such a fantastic cd @}->--- Mar 31, 2006 This is one of my favourite 'oldies'. I'm such a fan of Georges, that I have all of his music. Bad Of The Heart is a great song in and of itself, but to me, the two standout songs are No Matter What (a beautful duet) and Without You. In fact, Without You is one of the best songs in the universe.
Unfortunately, George isn't as popular as he really should be (considering that his voice is stunning) but trust me, that if you buy this, you will love it. I think some of his best work is on this cd and I'd love to hear new music from him, but till then, this will definately do.

Really really good! Apr 10, 2005 Legendary producers -- Chris Barbosa and Mark Liggett, at their height was George Lamond and Shannon. The music is timeless and I still listen to the fresh freestyle awesomeness. This album was visionary. George Lamond's vocals was ethereal and sticks like crazy glue. Too bad all the crappy music from the Grammys always gets all the awards. If I was in charge, I'd give George Lamond a Grammy or Chris Barbosa and Mark Liggett too.
Every song on this album is timeless!!
Good album Feb 28, 2003 This is definitly his best album "bad of the heart", "look into my eyes" and "without you" are classics, "bad of the heart" does carry a planet rock beat though.
