Best 90's teen band Jan 03, 2009 Okay, I am 21 now. So I was 10 this album was released in America. I do not consider this a guilty pleasure. I think this album is great, even if it has been out for at least a decade. I had friends who listened to them in 1998 and 1999. But they dont like them now. I think that Brian and AJ are the two best singers on there. I love the Quit Playing Games{With My Heart. It is better than Millenium and Black And BLue. Whenever a teen pop generations comes back. I recomend this album.

My View Apr 17, 2008 I have read reviews that this album is worth nothing.Others say its pure gold.I have been a backstreetboys fan since I was little. This albums brings so much memories.I love this album and recomend it to true Backstreetboys fans. This album is over 10 years old so of course its going to sound old school.People today hate Frank Sinatras songs because it sounds like a old radio.Back then there were no computers than help change a persons voice.People who hate this album have no appresiation on true music. There's a reason this album sold millions of copies. In conclusion this album is that dam good.

The Beginning of BSB May 29, 2007 This was not the group's first studio CD. It was, however, their US debut CD with songs complied from their first two CDs released overseas.
But, what you get with this album is sugery pop at its finest. All the songs on this album work like fine tuned machines, and that is not an insult. From the upbeat pop hits ("Everybody (Backstreet's Back))" to their soft ballads ("All I Have To Give") one is left knowing their full appeal to their adoring fans.
But, what you get mostly from this album is the beginnings of a boy band. The album is laced with do-gooder lyrics swaering to do a gilr right, mend her broken heart, and take all her worries away with a kiss. And, if you look at all five of them, you'd be hoping they would come into your room and make good on those promises. Not for one second while listening to this album do you feel embarrased of silly listening (well, at east until you get to the last song).
What you have here is a wonderful pop album with all the trimmings--five harmonious vocals, slow dance songs, dance beats, and crooner promises. If this is not your cup of tea, do'nt listen. But, if it is, you're going to be surprisinggly happy by CD's end.
