Nancy Wilson's Baby Guitars is wonderful Nov 12, 2009
It's not what one would expect to hear, right from the start, but a baby or small child would find it tantilizing, and eventually drift off to a dreamfilled slumber. It's the type of music that would spur an infant's imagination while lulling them into a sweet sleep. I bought it for my friend who is pregnant with her first baby.... who knows, it may give her a break while the baby is napping to do some things while she enjoys the music too~!
A New Appreciation... Nov 11, 2009
I've been a fan of Heart for almost all of my life, and I've considered Nancy Wilson among the best guitar players ever. If you have ever doubted her ability to play and write, or you've just simply walked away from her music for any reason, hearing this will give you a new appreciation for her talent and skills. I absolutely love this CD.

I am a huge fan of Heart, and I think that both Ann and Nancy are extremely talented individuals. I always love to watch Nancy play the guitar. It is amazing to see her whaling on the electric guitars and I have never seen anyone play an acoustic guitar like Nancy. I was very excited to see that she had put out this album of acoustic work, even though it is for children I LOVE IT. I listen to this CD at work. I am so glad that Nancy put together some of her work to share with us, and I hope that she puts out some more of her great work. This is a must have for anyone that loves Nancy's guitar work and wants a nice acoustic CD!
Not Just For Children Nov 05, 2009
I know its being sold under children's music, but its just not for kids. I received it as a gift from someone and I have fallen asleep to it twice now. When I want to relax at home, this is what I put on. I've been a fan of Heart's work and a huge fan of Nancy Wilson's acoustic work for years (decades), and she did not disappoint anyone with this CD. Kudos need to go out to Craig Bartock too, he did co-write and play on the CD. This CD is a must have for anyone who loves acoustic music.
 Soothing and Relaxing... Nov 01, 2009
Baby Guitars is a lullaby CD that even though says on the CD "Acoustic Instrumentals for babies to fall asleep to" it would be perfect for adults too. Now I am not usually a instrumental music lover, but this CD was so soothing for me, that I can only imagine the peacefulness a baby would feel from it. Baby Guitars includes 10 beautiful compositions and stunning guitar work that is similar to Nancy's work on the musical scores of films such as Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, and Vanilla Sky. There are even two songs from the Elizabthtown score soundtrack and the movie P.S. I Love You. Until now, the only people to hear this whole CD are family members who received home-burned copies to commemorate the birth of their children. Now Nancy Wilson wants to share the CD with everyone! It really is a wonderful and soothing "melodic collection of acoustic lullabies."
