Fantastic movie and CD. All the songs you wants to hear in your car, beautiful, touching songs. This is a fantastic CD.

I love the music from August Rush. When you're watching the movie, the music fits in so well. I love the guitar songs that are played by August/Evan and they also have the song that he and Louis play together in the park. This CD was a must-have for my collection and I'm not normally one for original soundtracks.

There are a few songs missing, but it didn't bug me as much as some of the other people because it does have my favorite ones on there (the guitar songs and August's Rhapsody).

While this CD does have most of the songs from the movie, it does not contain the music I was hoping for such as the organ solo in the church which I absolutely love(the scene and the music) this "soundtrack is not really that without these sort of pieces as well.

I've always enjoyed Johnathan Rhys Meyers as a singer and actor. He is a great singer in the movie Velvet Goldmine. I did not love the movie, but I love the soundtrack. His songs in August Rush are just as good, maybe better due to the raw emotion behind the music.I hope he has a long career and gets to sing more in some more movies. He is a great talent!
