Awful. Dec 04, 2008 As Good As It Gets starring Jack Nicholson is the worst movie ever to win an Oscar for best picture. I hate this movie in every way possible, Helen Hunt is horrible in this, can't believe she won an Oscar as well. Greg Kinnear is the only saving grace here and even Old Jack looks uninspired. This film is not funny or touching, just plain unbearable.

Hilarious Nov 18, 2008 This is a great movie. It is a great romantic comedy with the main character, played by Jack Nicholson, has OCD. It is sad/dramatic at times but overall it is pretty amusing. I think the best actor in the entire movie is the dog. The dog is just amazing. I absolutely love this movie and have watched it over a dozen times. It never gets old.

"You make me want to be a better man" Oct 06, 2008 "As Good as It Gets" is Funny, insigthful, romantic, ... the main plot involves the encounter of an artistic man in his fifties who suffers from severe obsessive-compulsive disorder with a morally-correct waitress in her early forties who's trying her best to care for her allergy-prone child and still maintain the prospect of some romantic life. The most appealing aspect of the movie is the realization that through a true connection with another person ('love') and/or the simple acknoledgement of an individual's humanity, one maybe empowered with the necessary inner-strength to overcome difficulties and neurosis that otherwise, he or she may never have had the courage or willingness to address. This movie is famous for the performance of both Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson, including his line " You make me want to be a better man," which is a turning point in the movie when Jack's character undergoes a Self-realization that allows him to surpass some of his own limitations.
