 "It's All About Love",a new album by The Outfield. Feb 06, 2010
Even after 14 years break,this magnificent band have not forgotten their roots:the music that made them famous.My favourite song is "It's all about love",it is also my pick for title of the album.Other favourites are,"Wasted","The sound of love" , "Photograph","Rainbow's end" and "Peace".If you liked this band's music in 80s & 90s,you will certainly enjoy this album and much more.It's all about the love of music & the fans!I don't know or understand where the title (Any Time Now) comes from,may be "It's All About Love".Track intervals are somewhat erratic,disappointing for a band of this calibre.The sleave insert has no information of musicians on the album or lyrics!This has been a standard for the band in the past,was production of this CD in a hurry?I understand John Spinks was recovering from a serious illness!May be this is the reason why. These are blemishes on the otherwise very good album.

14 years is a long time break,it is a wellcome back with a bang!My favourite song is track 6:"It's all about love",should have been the title of the album.Time may have passed but the band have not forgotten their roots,fans or tempted to change direction.Typical Outfield music that made them famous in the 80s & much more.Other powerful songs include "wasted","sound of love","photograph","rainbow's end" and "peace".Regrettably I don't know or understand why the album is titled "Any Time Now".

I too ounce enyoyed the outfield and i have to admitt there return to rock is well worth the wait.Ounce the cd gets to track 9 give it all you got it losses it mometum but untill then it ia great from love affair, to there she goes again ,to a long walk on the beach this cd is a classis outfield cd,well written and played.I hope this review was helpfull to you

I also thought this album was good and really enjoyed it but there earliest albums are better. I am also a diehard Outfield fan and I will always be a Outfield fan. I heard there song that is on there website called Baby I'm Crazy!!! and that song is freaking awsome, now that is the Outfield, the sound is back guys and keep it up. I can't wait till that album come out.

John Spinks and Tony Lewis are the 'Simon & Garfunkel' of the 80's and beyond. I don't mean this facetiously (I can be a prog-rock snob!). I hope they continue to put out great albums and have the proper financial backing to do so. Rare gems, the Outfield are.
