I heard a single by Editors and was enthralled by Tom Smith's voice - then I purchased this album and it is sublime. Each and every song is perfect and Tom Smith's voice is the catalyst - simply thrilling. I have listened to it every day since I purchased this album and have not become the least bit bored with it. Highly recommended - 5 stars.

Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors makes me want to turn it up loud stretch out my arms and spin around and around catching the wind. Beautiful and epic! Tom Smith could sing me to sleep every night! If you are just discovering Editors this is a great album to start with. I promise if you are not already in love you will be.

An obvious enjoyment if one is inclined towards the Interpol aesthetic, this sophomore is overall a solid indie guitar release, but its solidness is mildly generic and forgettable amidst a few glaring gleams of melody.

I just discovered this band on Pandora Radio - on the Interpol station that I created. The singer had that Paul Banks-like quality and it was obvious that the lead singer was influenced by Joy Division as well. I fell in love with their music immediately. The songwriting on this CD is just fantastic. Dark, beautiful, melancholic. As soon as it was delivered, I listened to it all the time and still never got tired of it. To me, that's a clear indication of solid songwriting and musical direction/production.
If you like Interpol, you'll LOVE these guys, too. No doubt.
If you're a Joy Division fan, be prepared for a more polished production of accessible and melodious songs that this CD is packed with.
