Fantastico! Sep 16, 2008 This CD has such dinamic music; it will get you dancing even if you don't know how!
feels like summer is finaly here May 21, 2008 This album, though different from 2 previous Jarabe albums I own, does have a something in common with its predecessors: the rythms make me feel like summer is finally here. The frst track is not my favorite, but from the second track onwards, this album makes me feel happyand relaxt, what more could you ask for?
A very nice CD Feb 10, 2008 I really like this CD--except for the title track, which is a shame. All the other songs are great, though. I especially like that Jarabe de Palo departed a bit from their usual type of songs. My favorite is "Dejame Vivir" with La Mari. That song alone is worth the cost of the CD!

pathetic copy Aug 05, 2007 The new CD of Jarabe de Palo is great. A new refreshing style that reminds me the 80s Madrid pop-rock, with influences from Los Ronaldos. The sound quality is good but after a few minutes of the end of the last song, a ranchera sounds! It seems this CD has been recorded on top of an older CD...unacceptable. Also the title is wrong! Let's copy it right: AdelantAndo. I will never buy a CD from Warner latino again.

This CD just keeps on getting better Jun 26, 2007 It's often pleasing to pick up a new album by your favorite group and rock out to what feels like a continuation of your favorite tunes by them. But then doesn't it always feel like a short time later the new album is played out? And it ensues naturally that you'd like the group to come out with another new album so that you have new stuff to listen to? Well, this isn't the case with Jarabe de Palo's new disc "Adelantando". It's different enough from each of his previous 4 main albums that it doesn't resemble the same sound. He branches out with new structures in the songs, new formats, some different instruments, new voices, and even a song in Italian. The themes are just as deep but unique to those previously appearing in his work. I didn't love the cd at first and was kind of disappointed. But then a few more listens and I was hooked on several songs. I had the same reaction to Dave Matthews' "Don't Drink the Water" and later was thrilled with it. I just hope as many people love this new creation from Jarabe and he starts to receive the international notoriety that he deserves.
