Mary, Did you Know. Jan 12, 2009 Mary Did you know on this Cd is wonderful. Of course Kathy Matea's version is the best. I play if for my 4 th grade religious education class and they love it.
Michael English Christmas CD Feb 08, 2008 This is a great CD. His voice is as pure as ever. He sings like an Angel from Heaven. I hope he makes some new CDs soon.
great album Jan 07, 2008 Michael English's Christmas album is truly great. Michael's twist on old favorites as well as new songs makes it even more amazing. I hope he will continue to produce Christian albums.
Michael you are truly an awesome Gift from God. Dec 18, 2004 Michael's Christmas CD is awesome. To hear you sing brings tremendous joy to may heart and my family's heart. Great way to comback by giving this gift of Song in honor of the birth of Jesus. We are so glad you are back where you belong. Your voice on all of the songs is amazing. It's now one of mine and my family's favorite Christmas CD's to play. It ushers in the true Spirit of Christmas and what it's all about. Thank you for obeying the voice of the Lord and answering your call, we are all blessed because of it.

Headed in a different direction Jul 16, 2004 Fans of Michael English may be taken aback by this recording. Rather than showcasing his pop abilities, this Christmas album is rather laid-back. Many of the basic tracks were produced by long-time friend Michael Sykes (giving it a little more southern gospel feel), and the singing is more reserved than previous efforts. The result is a nice change of pace for English. To give you an idea, his new rendition of "Mary Did You Know" (previously done with synthesizers and drum loops) is done with acoustic guitars and live percussion.Overall, I think it's a great recording and a fresh sound for Michael English. Sure to be a holiday favorite.
