 Great CD, Wish I Could Say That about His New CD, Who Knew Oct 20, 2009
This is one of my flav CD. Listening to it right now, just love it. His latest CD Who Knew, which left a lot to be desire. I think because BabyFace produced and did a lot of the writting on this CD, its just the best... I would buy this CD over Who Knew CD anyday of the week..

After listening to this CD, Kevon Edmonds became my wife's favourite singer. When he teams up with his brother Babyface the results are stunning such as the first 2 tracks. The problem is when he doesn't get Babyface's help the results become mixed. On the good side is the title track "24/7" and "No Love" but on the bad side is everything else that Babyface didn't help with. The not so good tracks are the two "Tim & Bob" tracks "I Want You More" & "When I'm With You". The last 3 tracks on the CD are OK but they just don't stand up to the rest of the album either(hence "filler")as Babyface didn't help with these tracks either. The duet with Babyface is great, also Baby Come To Me & How Often (written by Babyface & Robin Thicke) are gorgeous. It's amazing that I'm giving this CD 5 stars when there are 7 awesome songs and 5 mediocre songs. Next month Kevon is supposed to release his next album "Who Knew" on an independant label (hopefully it won't get postponed again) it may interest you that his talented brother Babyface did not contribute to this project so I'm a bit apprehensive about the quality of material on it. It's been 10 years since this album was released so hopefully he's been able to find some good songs for this project in that time.

This is one of my favorite CDs! I love Kevon's music! It has Babyface written all over it! He does a great job on each song and sings with such energy you can't believe. I listen to this CD a lot and I think it is worth the buy, you won't be disappointed! I wish he would record another CD and do it soon. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 highest....I rate this one "5". This CD also has a lot of "love ballards" and a few neo soul sounds on some of the music. Over all 24/7 is really a GREAT CD!!!
