Britney is still yet to make a better album Dec 19, 2008
I got this album 9 years after the original release. I found out I had made a great choice when I found out the Australian edition 5 bonus tracks!
1. ...Baby One More Time - 5 Stars out of 5 - Britney's most successful song ever. A brilliant song about a young girl begging her boyfriend to come back (I think in the song "Stronger" of her next album, Britney finds out her boyfriend was a cheat)
2. (You Drive Me) Crazy - 5 Stars - I heard this song on the album right after I got it. On the "Greatist Hits: My Prerogative" album (my first Britney album) they featured 'The Stop! Remix'. This song is vastly different. I still can't decide which version is better!
3. Sometimes - 5 Stars - Unlike (You Drive Me) Crazy this song is a pleasant, relaxing song. And unlike ...Baby One More Time, Britney is singing more naturally, not fancy-pancy.
4. Soda Pop - 4 Stars - This song is very teen-pop. Got a bit of Hawaiian influence. Catchy, and good to listen to if you want a very light song.
5. Born To Make You Happy - A sweet song with much higher musical value than most songs. It's a relief after some later songs like "Boys (The Co-Ed Remix)"
6. From The Bottom of My Broken Heart - 5 Stars - I think that Britney has 3 number 1 best songs: From The Bottom of My Broken Heart, Overprotected (Darkchild Remix) and Toxic. This is a beutifal song. I can never forget me crying when I first heard this sing.
7. I Will Be There - 5 Stars - One of Britney Spears's best B-Sides! A sweet song saying that Britney forgives her cheating boyfrind.
8. I Will Still Love You (feat. Don Philip) - 5 Stars - Britney's and Don's voices blend together so well! I can't stop listening to this song. I love it. Love it. Love it more now!
9. Deep In My Heart - 5 Stars - I catchy song that's a cross between Bubblegum Pop & Dance. Quick and pleasant.
10. Thinkin' About You - 4 Stars - Most of the song is OK, the chorus is very nice. A good song. Catchy.
11. E-Mail My Heart - 5 Stars - I don't understand why critics hate this song. The instrumental and Britney's voice isn't flttened out. It's fresh and very-well made. The lyrics are nice and original and interesting.
12. The Beat Goes On - 3 Stars - The worst song on the album. And it isn't that bad, it's just that Britney's voice is too deep and the song is a bit bland.
13. I'll Never Stop Loving You - 5 Stars - A nice song that has good melody and rythm. I can't say much about it though.
14. Autumn Goodbye - 5 Stars - You can't love it more than the first time you hear it but it's still lovable.
15. ...Baby One More Time (Davidson Ospina Radio Mix) - 5 Stars - A brilliant remix that's different to most remixes. Unique and well put together.
16. ...Baby One More Time (Boywunder Radio Mix) - 5 Stars - Also a brilliant remix. The Boywunder mix is more pleasant than dancy compared to the Davidson Ospina mix. But it isn't truely unique and when Britney isn't singing, the remix is a bit dull. But it's still a brilliant mix.
It should be noted that the last 4 tracks of the album are only available on the Australia, UK and Japan editions of the album.
